- Driven discontinuous business growth though introduction of diverse discovery and outreach programs for a major CPG organization and financial services organizations.
- Developed a product portfolio industry-shifting go-to-market strategy of product portfolio for global leader in the petroleum industry.
- Led OCM outreach and marketing efforts for major IT install in second-largest federal government agency.
After serving honorably in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Artis embarked on a career in Marketing and Communications first at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) where he led discontinuous business growth on a host of brands. He completed his time at P&G as Brand Manager of the Multi-Cultural Marketing Department, an internal organization he co-created. His commercial experiences also includes time in Marketing leadership roles at Capital One and Fannie Mae. Mr. Artis also drove Marketing efforts resulting in industry leadership on brands with global recognition in the petroleum and mobile communications industries.
Mr. Artis assumed leadership roles in the federal government where first he led the Change Management outreach efforts for a $700 million agency-wide IT install at the second-largest federal agency, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Following his time at VA, Mr. Artis led the outreach and communications work at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). The second most visited location in the Washington, DC region, ANC has a global target audience of 10 million. As ANC’s Strategic Communications Officer (STRATCOMM), Mr. Artis was instrumental in helping lead the re-staging of America's most hallowed grounds.
Mr. Artis is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy – where he was elected Class President each of four years – and he holds the Master of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland at College Park.
